It is not an obvious search term. I know this article exists, but I have trouble remembering how to find it. So how will other readers go?
It is not easy to write an article about what is potentially two subjects. It is easier to write about a main subject, with a secondary subject.
Because the Ranii story is clearly the least certain, concerning how to interpret it, and comes down to one difficult passage in one unreliable old document, I suggest it is the secondary subject of this article. So a possible better title for this article is Rodulf, Heruli king?--Andrew Lancaster (talk) 07:46, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
