I know I'm partially responsible for this problem
- But isn't the "external links" section a bit excessive?

- Yep, it does look too long. How about splitting off the stuff written by Dreher, and creating a section above, titled, say, "Publications", or "Articles", or something? Such things should not be in the External links, as a matter of fact--those are typically reserved for external commentary. Also, I found a dead link -- I'll remove that one. - That looks much better.

Why am I unable to edit an article about myself anyway? Rod Dreher (talk) 03:56, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- Per discussions at AfD and WP:AN, the above user is not the real Rod Dreher, and has been indefinitely blocked as an impersonator. KuyaBriBriTalk 16:56, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- To elaborate, editing an article about one's self can be seen as a potential conflict of interest because it would lend the article to being non-neutral from a point-of-view. (That's standard, but I don't see much harm in having you edit the article personally as long as everything is cited with reliable sources.) That said, I think that some positive contributions to the article is needed, and if you need someone to overlook the article, I'd be more than willing and happy to do so. The gross personal violations that were done from several editors and administrator is unjustifiable, and the comments that were left were potentially libelous and those involved should apologize for their gross errors. Let me know if you need any further assistance. seicer | talk | contribs 12:54, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
