This page of Rocky Dawuni shouldn't be deleted. We are working on it and will soon be effective.

Contested deletion

edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because the [Wikimedia Ghana] is working on writing a complete article on Rocky Dawuni since such an article of his doesn't exist on wikipedia. --Nkansahrexford (talk) 08:56, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Temporary restore

edit

Hello

Following a discussion on the African mailing list, some editors would like to investigate the copyvio history of this article (who wrote what...) and identify what can be eventually retrieved to help create a new article. I consequently temporarily undelete this article to allow investigation. I hope it is fine (if not, please let's talk about it). I will re-delete it in part or in totality in the next couple of days. Thanks Anthere (talk) 18:17, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I created a copyvio-free stub, so that it can be kept (or arguably AfDed) even if nobody wants to investigate.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:49, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thank you Ymblanter ! I removed the tag. If anyone complains, we can always remove history. I let it be for now. Anthere (talk)
Thanks to both. I've requested revdeletion of the history as I don't believe such a blatant copyvio should be allowed to remain accessible, and to prevent any possible misguided attempt to restore it to the article in future. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:04, 30 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and I looked (as I am sure Ymblanter will have done also) at the possibility of rolling back to the version before the copyvio was added; unfortunately, that version consisted only of the word "Welcome". Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:08, 30 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
