Expanding entry edit

Hi, I've expanded this article and added sources and have accordingly removed the stub tag.Varlet8 19:13, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced funding claim edit

I've removed the claim that the Rockridge Institute is funded by Tides. I don't object to information about funding, but surely it needs a source! Also, it seems highly unlikely that any large political think tank has only one source of funding. Benzocane 03:52, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Historical detail, such as date of formation, needed? edit

I'm writing an essay and want to mention the work of the Rockridge Institute, but notice that neither this entry nor the one on it's founder George Lakoff mentions the year the institute was founded. It seems an obvious candidate for inclusion if any one has this info. Just a suggestion. Lakoff's own site (lakoff.com) and a number of other sites say that the Rockridge Institute was founded in 1997. I've fixed this article accordingly. However, I'm having trouble finding whether it was located in Berkeley for all those years, or only for the latter part of that time. -AlanUS (talk) 00:04, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Virtually all of this site is dead edit

The Rockridge Institute website is dead, so necessarily all of the links to it are dead. Someone who knows more than I do about Lakoff and his work should rewrite it and bring it current. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cvllelaw (talkcontribs) 00:34, 13 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rockridge archive edit

The thinktank/consulting firm Cognitive Policy Works is an offshoot of Rockridge, they have a complete archive of their writings.

I would like to link to it, but I don't want to be inappropriate/spammy in my linking...

Advice?
