Sir Rowland Hill living at Swathes edit

I completely accept that a reliable source is needed for this information. In May 2006 I obtained the information from the sale details for Swathes put out by the estate agent. Because I could not establish any independant corroborative evidence at the time to support this information I felt that I should not record the information as an established fact but only that he was "reputed to have lived at Swathes" in the hamlet of Buckridge.DonBarton 23:01, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bewdley School edit

"The residents of Rock and Bliss Gate all send their children to Bewdley school and sixth form centre, which has an excellent reputation."

Is this really correct? Do no parents at all opt for private education or chose other schools in the area for their children? If it isn't strictly true it has no place in Wikipedia. Perhaps it should be reworded to "Most residents in Rock..." Skinsmoke (talk) 18:52, 10 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Village Hall - wedding reference edit

"The...village hall always has local events taking place from weddings to the rock show". The use of the village hall in connection with weddings needs clarification. Does this mean wedding receptions or dances (usual), or wedding ceremonies - which require a venue licence - (unusual). Some indication of the importance of 'the rock show' may also be appreciable - most readers will not be local people. Cloptonson (talk) 21:09, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
