Should this article even exist?

This probably shouldn't be its own article - instead, it should be part of something else (maybe Robotics?). If its worthy of its own article, it needs to be rewritten to be a reasonable wiki article.

Good question. Maybe it should be part of the Universal Basic Income article.

Also, should replacement of machines by robots disincentivised? This reflects the biased presumption that "work", in the economic sense, is essential for humans. Janosabel (talk) 13:43, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

Equitable distribution of benefits from robotization?

A "nearly-automatic" factory will have embedded in its design and operational realisation many thousands of human labour hours. These labour hours are unlikely to have received the full measure of value they have created. To redress this inequity in the automation industry, a kind of tax could conceivable designed...
