confused edit
There are two significantly different graphs, with both the same labels on the axes and description. Shouldnt it explain somewhere what the difference is? 217.166.90.180 09:23, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Look again - the descriptions are different! One is clearly marked Robinson-Dadson and the other Fletcher-Munson. The debate over the difference is fully described here and on the associated pages. Both are compared with the new ISO standard, which supercedes them. --Lindosland 13:19, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Does this page need to exist? edit
Is there a good reason why this page doesn't rollup/redirect to "equal-loudness contour", the way "Fletcher-Munson curves" does currently? The language of this article is kind of redundant to the page for "equal-loudness contour"?

Diagram does not show Robinson–Dadson curves edit
The one and only diagram in this article does not show the subject of the article but something else, which is confusing. The diagram only shows the Fletcher-Munson curves and the ISO curves revised in 2003, which replaced the Robinson-Dadson curves. In the versions of this article by 2011, there is a diagram depicting the Robinson-Dadson curves. However, its left scale has numbers printed above each other. I do not know how to remove or correct the overlapping numbers, but would like to suggest to use that diagram. 2A02:8109:B615:C500:3923:90A8:2473:F90 (talk) 11:28, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
