Catskin Earls [?]
editI recall reading somewhere that the Earls of Shrewsbury, Derby, and Huntingdon (the only surving earldoms created before the union of the crowns under James VI/I) are still authorized to sport 4 rows of miniver on their robes instead of 3.
They're commonly called the "catskin earls" as an English naturalization of QUATRE `four` SKINS.
