Talk:Roberto Calderoli/Archive 1

new news

There are conflicting quotes in Italian regarding the comment by Calderoli that France had lost because its players were "niggers, Muslims and communists". Here he is quoted as saying "neri": http://italian.wiki-site.com:82/r/o/b/Roberto_Calderoli_9bf4.html On most other sights he is quoted as saying "negri". Either way, what is the best way to translate this? The American press has translated this with the "n" word, for example, The Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/14/roberto-calderoli-organutan-cecile-kyenge_n_3594320.html

Can somebody please add this article in Wiki?

Sorry but Calderoli is not a neofascist, probably you don't know something and because Wikipedia is a neutral site you can't write "neofacist" for a man who isn't in a neofascist party.

Neofascist?

Calderoli can't be defined "neofascist". It's true Northern League is very close to Fascism with respect to racism and omophobic behaviour, but there are many differences. Northern League is for total freedom of speech (particulary if referred to the right to say racist things or anti-Italian State statemets) and is against Italian State unity. Besides they say to be anti-fascist (for instance they were against Italian Social Movement). In addition many Italian neofascists, such as Alessandra Mussolini, had quarrels with them.--Furyo Mori 17:14, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

Alessandra Mussolini neofascist?!?
Unless you consider neofascist the entrire "right wing" of the parliament... it seems a wrong example.
Neofascists are other extraparlamentar groups like "Forza Nuova" or "Fascismo e Libertà".
Nothing to do with A.M., Gianfranco Fini and so on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.96.3.242 (talk) 08:28, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

An article to be redone

This biography is totally biased and contains a number of facts that are totally wrong. There are just 3 points in it, each of which contains a mistake:

  • C. is not a dentist. He's a doctor in Maxillo-Faccial medicine and Surgery. "Dentist" is another specialization. He works on bones not teeth.
  • The t-shirt was not reproducing the infamous Mohammad Cartoons: just look the video and youll see it's another picture: it shows Muhammed, Buddah and Javè, with the Christian God saying to him "Just calm down, all of us have already been part of some satiric picture".

It is quite strange -if not even curious- that all that claim against C. for this, come from the same of the people that usually criticize Italy for presumed limitation in expression freedoms. At least talk about the correct thing!

  • The statement "Calderoli and Racism" 90% talking about the more than 200 years old Northern Italian and French rivality (since Napoleon ages) in many sectors may be correct, but simply talks about all a different story (probably far from being knowm to the most of the international commenter) that has nothing to do about "racism", but is about "Campanilism". It's not a case it is related to a Football match.

Unless until the definition of "racism" is the one that is on the dictionary.

This article is a total shame for what should be an encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.96.3.242 (talk) 12:06, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
