The Battle Against Fraud editorial from the NYTimes edit
Congratulations on finding a link to the original editorial. I couldn't find it, only mirrors. I changed the note to use your link, and I figured the note about the NYTimes correction was no longer necessary. People who follow the link will see it. I'm a bit surprised that the NYTimes editorial writer should make that kind of basic mistake. -- Geo Swan 01:57, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- Some NYTimes articles don't expire. Others do. It is not completely predictable. I'll keep an eye on it, and, if it expires, we can go back to the mirror.
- Did you see that I altered the sentence immediately before the quote? I hoped that change made clear that he was administering Iraqi oil money. I might feel differently if I were an American. But, as a non-American, some Americans diverting the funds the CPA administered in trust for the Iraqis is a bit worse than if some Americans diverted their own nation's money.

Hey folks. Just curious I found this other SIGIR report that said that one of the charges against Stein was that he was a "Felon in possession of a firearm..."http://www.sigir.mil/reports/quarterlyreports/Jan09/pdf/App_J_-_January_2009.pdf. Does this mean he had a prior conviction even before the corruption investigation? Thanks
