Controversy over Salary edit

The 2006/01/04 San Francisco Chronicle reports some controversy over Berdahl's salary, see [[1]]

When Robert Berdahl resigned in 2004 as chancellor of UC Berkeley, he was given a yearlong leave at his chancellor's salary with the understanding he would return to teaching.

Now Berdahl says he'll leave in May -- after teaching one semester -- to run an academic trade group. But UC officials said he won't have to pay back the $355,000 he earned on leave because UC made an "exception to policy.

Should his bio mention this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.142.12.29 (talkcontribs)

Probably not at this stage. It's only a short stub. If you want to work on this particular article, there's lots of far more important stuff to add first. Andrewa 12:34, 10 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
