Maria Pia died, that's clear. I don't know her age. But I'm very sure, the child was a girl and named Augusta. The references are given on the bottom of the article.

I search something about Maria Pia and find out, the she was born in 1849 and died 1882. So you are right with the age of 33.

Princess Henrietta from the second marriage

She was deaf and died umarried. Henrietta was the only child from the second marriage with an illness.

Disabled children

According to this post at alt.talk.royalty, by Guy Stair Sainty, Fragile X syndrome was the likely reason Robert of Parma had so many retarded children. Does anyone know of a scholarly source I could cite for this point? Coemgenus 21:26, 6 March 2008 (UTC) .

This family is a passion for me, because I love genetic and royal families. Please, if someone knows why do Robert's first marriage's children were mentally retarded, post the answer here. Learning difficulties?

The table of Robert's children refers to several of them as having learning difficulties. This appears to be overly euphemistic and in fact inaccurate, given that elsewhere in the article they are described as being mentally retarded. A learning difficulty would be something like dyslexia, which is a very different situation. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:05, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

I removed all the references to "learning difficulties" because of the inaccurate euphemism situation discussed above. I suspect that the appropriate description should be something like these individuals having been mentally retarded, but (a) I don't have sources for that, and (b) this is a sensitive subject that I don't want to treat inaccurately. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 03:43, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
