Erronerous history relating to Quebec
editA note of warning for future editors: some sources state that Robert Adair was in Quebec at the time of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, but this is a different person, a John Adair. I removed this from my userspace draft, as this appears to be completely wrong, as shown by the following:
- Key of those shown in 'the Death of General Wolfe' (includes an 'Adair')
- Disputed historicity (regarding The Death of General Wolfe and the identity of the surgeon attending Wolfe: either Thomas Hinde or John Adair)
The second link above is to an article by Charles Perry Stacey, outlining the lack of historicity of the painting. Carcharoth (talk) 14:06, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
