RUS 041A

edit

RUS-041A.jpg from irishstatutebook.ie is not quite the same as File:Spain_traffic_signal_r500.svg   which I have added to the article. The black circle and stripes are thicker in the Irish sign than the Spanish one, and the white gap between the black circle and the edge is thinner. The exact specs are on page 6 of TSAN-2016-01. Someone who can might generate a nice SVG. jnestorius(talk) 17:17, 28 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Citations, evidence, and older pictures

edit

This article cites evidence from the UK Metric Association, which as you may guessed by the name is in favour of metrication and has been proven to be biased towards metric topics. Any sources that have a high margin of bias should not be used on wikipedia, in order to ensure accuracy and neutrality regarding debatable topics. Secondly, if anyone would be able to insert pictures of the old, pre-metrication Irish speed limits signs, that would make the article more informative. The last matter is some of the citations on this article are not even links or references and are just words. These need to removed or edited.

Speed limits before and after 2005

edit

I was checking this article to find out what the speeds limits before metrication were (in miles per hour), but I can’t find it. De wafelenbak (talk) 11:52, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
