Recent Updates and Improvements edit
Hello: Below are some updates (with sources formatted) regarding Rivian that have been in the press over the last couple of months. This seems like the type of content that would improve the article. The recall content would probably also be pertinent to the R1T page. The delivery delay also applies to the newly created page on the R1S. There are a couple of updates from the company’s 2021 Q4 report I posted to the talk page on April 7 for review as well. As always, I understand I can’t make these edits myself due to my COI relationship. I welcome any feedback. Thank you and best, IanRivian (talk) 15:21, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
Tread Lightly Partnership
In Spring of 2022, Rivian partnered with the environmental advocacy group Tread Lightly!. Through this partnership, Rivian will educate off-road enthusiasts on respecting the rights and property of others, adhering to applicable regulations, and becoming stewards of the environment.[1]
Recall
In May 2022, Rivian issued a recall for some of its 2022 model 502 R1Ts made between September 2021, and April 2022. The airbag sensors may not deactivate when a child occupies the front passenger seat. Rivian will replace the front passenger seats for all affected trucks.[2]
R1S Delivery Delays
Rivian announced in mid-June of 2022 that there would be a delay for some deliveries of its R1S electric SUV. The company cites the delay is due to supply chain issues and limited service infrastructure.[3]

Logo edit
Company's logo on their webpage is black, so I reverted the image in the article to the black one. MartinezMD (talk) 21:06, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
2022 Q2 revenue edit
Rjohnson1980 and Ptrnext , can you please discuss your points of view here instead of just reverting each other. This back-and-forth editing is making me dizzy. Stepho talk 05:27, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- Rjohnson has a recent pattern of edit warring with warnings. I've place an advisory to the admins. Ptrnext is guilty of violating the 3-revert rule too, but not as egregious as Rjohnson's recent pattern. MartinezMD (talk) 05:39, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
Platforms edit
The article should include information on the two platforms that Rivian builds right now, the R1 base for the R1T/R1S, and the RCV base for the ECV -- 64.229.90.199 (talk) 14:23, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
