Text doesn’t match Ordnance Survey map edit

Article says ”The river is formed at Chalkfoot near East Curthwaite, where water from Cardew Mires is joined by the Chalk Beck. Chalk Beck rises close to Wavergillhead and runs north, meeting Iron Gill and proceeding through a wooded clough to Chalkfoot” but Ordnance Survey, and the quarry application source, show the Wampool starting at Cardew Mires, which is downstream of Chalkfoot. Assuming there are no counterarguments, I’ll replace the text with something that matches the sources better, but maybe folks with local knowledge think the text is correct as it is, in which case please add some sources. (I will, in any case, rephrase to distinguish between the Chalk Beck and the Wampool.) Thanks all! --Northernhenge (talk) 16:31, 24 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Looking further into this, the Environment Agency data (and other neighbouring catchments) is presumably definitive so I'll work from that, assuming no counterarguments. --Northernhenge (talk) 14:09, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
