R Bourne in Surrey is easily confused as there are two very close to each other. They then join together - aptly again called the r. bourne - and then flow into the thames. Both rivers are called the R Bourne. I didn't know how to differentiate them - even locals don't. Hence I've called one the north branch and the other the south branch.
