Hello. I live in the River Bend, and was disappointed in its Wikipedia entry. I made some major changes.
- The article formerly stated that the boundaries stretched as far south as Highway 270 and as far East as Route 159. This would include the city of Edwardsville and the very disconnected hamlet of Gard. These are definitely not considered River Bend communities.
- The article formerly included Calhoun County. I've never seen or heard of anyone considering Brussels, IL as a part of the River Bend.
- I added a list of communities. The only community I'm unsure about is Fosterburg. According to the US Census they are not within the Alton Urban Area.
- Another note on communities: I left out the hamlet of Beltrees in Jersey County. Along with places like Salu, Milton, and Camden; I think we can all consider this an extinct community.
