Also, in regards to the COI tag, I have done research on Walcott as part of my M.A. in Canadian Studies and believe that his contribution to Canadian scholarship is significant and should be accessible in this type of public forum.
Please feel free to look him up (there are many references to his work that come up in a google scholar search) and add more information as you see fit.
The above is doubtless the case but this page still violates a perhaps unwritten code in that there are literally thousands of academics with equal reputations who have no Wikipedia page because while they're 'famous' within sub-disciplines, they're no more historical figures than executives of local transit systems and so forth. editThis wiki entry reads as blatant self-promotion, even if it was written by someone other than Walcott. No one cares about 'forthcoming' articles and books that are not attainable other than an author who needs to shore up their CV for professional reasons. If Walcott is not embarrassed about this entry, then I will be embarrassed for him. Ridiculous.

editPommarsmit
editPommarsmit is clearly lying about his association with Rinaldo Walcott. In fact, it is unthinkable that Pommarsmit is anyone other than Walcott himself. When Pommarsmit created this article, he included trash that only Walcott could possibly know, such as which articles were forthcoming and books that he had signed contracts for but not yet written.
