Let's add meaningful content or delete -- 20 October 2005

Issues edit
This article has serious issues aside from lacking citations.
- The tone is like a personal reflection or essay:
- "All seem to know him and deal with him as sort of an old friend."
- "That eternity was (perhaps) cut short as Ricardo disappears into television black space on April 1, 1960."
- It's at times excessively detailed:
- "Only the Duffs (Ida Lupino and her husband Howard Duff) seem to not know him during their stay in a cabin in 'Lucy Takes A Vacation' on the Comedy Hour program."
- "Their move coincides with the release of the very popular movie and Sloan Wilson novel 'The Man In The Gray Flannel Suit' in the public domain."
- It's often written in an in-universe style:
- "Ricardo is fairly unique for someone in his position and era."
- "Even when Ricardo catches on his wife she finds some way to get around him."
The grammar often has issues too, as the above quotes also illustrate. The article has some good information but it needs serious work. It probably has the largest number of distinct, serious issues of any article I've read on Wikipedia. 24.220.188.43 (talk) 14:09, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Merge to Lucy and Ricky Ricardo edit
With the recent WP:RM at Talk:Lucy Ricardo#Merger proposal resolving by renaming 'Lucy Ricardo' to 'Lucy and Ricky Ricardo', I have now edited this article 'Ricky Ricardo' to redirect to 'Lucy and Ricky Ricardo'.
