Proposed edits to Pearson article
editI am writing a biography of Chief Justice Pearson and plan to do a major edit of the Wikipedia article, with extensive additions. If anyone has concerns, please let me know ASAP. Thanks! State Legal History Fan (talk) 20:43, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
- State Legal History Fan, Quick questions; I hope they won't offend you. Were you hired/paid by him to do that? And are you writing like a real biography (a published book)? If the answer to any of those questions is yes then you might just want to disclose your status of conflict of interest or paid editorship. You can reply by using the {{Reply to}} template. @Field Marshal Aryan: Thank you for your feedback; I appreciate it. Pearson is long deceased; I have not been hired to edit the Wikipedia article, and I do not presently have a publication contract for the proposed biography. After reflection, I will hold off making edits until the publication situation is clearer. Best, State Legal History Fan. State Legal History Fan (talk) 20:17, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
