Drawing of Richard Blackwood edit

I added a drawing of Richard Blackwood to the page, and it has been deleted twice. Could someone explain why this image was considered inappropriate. The image was a free use image and drawings are used on other wikipedia articles, for example this drawing of Daniel Bell: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Daniel_Bell.jpg

I don't see why the drawing of Richard Blackwood I posted should be any different. Could someone explain? 86.153.27.58 (talk) 22:23, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I deleted the image once - I don't know who the other editor was. The reason I deleted the image was because it doesn't look anything like Richard Blackwood. Blaise Joshua (talk) 09:34, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Additionally, having just checked the pages for Daniel Bell, I don't see any accepted drawings of him - only further objection. Blaise Joshua (talk) 09:37, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was the last person to remove the link from the article - it was a redlink as the image had an improper license and has therefore been deleted from Wikipedia entirely. Kind regards, Nancy talk 09:49, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Ikonz magazine March 2007 Issue 4 small.jpg edit

Image:Ikonz magazine March 2007 Issue 4 small.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

1-2-3-4 Get With the Wicked edit

Was this song a single by Blackwood? I've tried to do some research on the matter, initially spurred on by the reference in Nick Hornby's How to Be Good. Any further info that could be added to the article about it (and perhaps the Hornby connection) would be much appreciated.--MichaelProcton (talk) 18:44, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, 1,2,3,4, Get With The Wicked was released as a single in 2000. Furious Mythical Beast (talk) 20:50, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
