I am in the process of putting this page up on behalf of Ambassador Bernal; I am new to the process of creating Wikipedia pages and thus have limited experience citing copyrighted bibliographic material. As soon as I can correctly site his copyrighted material, I will do so in the appropriate manner.

Hello @WikiDan61: I understand that the biographical details of Ambassador Bernal also appears on his Amazon Bookstore page. I have deleted this content and will upload updated biographical information. I cannot say that this will be completely different. Please let me know what to do in an instance like this, as this is his official biographical information. (Ackeestudios (talk) 22:21, 10 August 2016 (UTC))Reply

@Ackeestudios: It is well and good for Ambassador Bernal to have official biographical information published online, but it is not appropriate for Wikipedia to duplicate that material, both for copyright reasons, and because Wikipedia shouldn't serve as just another place for Ambassador Bernal to have his official biography published. Wikipedia biographies (as all articles) should be written independently, in the authors' own words, using material published in reliable sources as a reference.
