Common name in the taxobox edit

Regarding this edit, what is the rationale for not having a common name in the taxobox, when it already has the botanical name mentioned twice (albeit in two different forms)?

I'm not for common named-titles at all, for any biota, just for having at least one in the taxobox. To my thinking, taxoboxen serve as a sort of summary of names (among other things) for someone looking for it quickly. And a common name is one of those names. For a reader looking for more information, deeper explanations are to be found in the text.

Finally, I don't see any harm in having it there.

OR... How about having it look like this one, here, instead. I've noticed a few plant pages are presented this way already. Hamamelis (talk) 05:22, 27 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
