Link Change
editThe link for the Reubin O'D Askew Student Life Center has changed, we are making a new wikipedia page specifically for that building and it also includes a brief bio of Reubin and his importance in education, Florida Government, and why the building is named in honor of him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zacamora (talk • contribs) 14:09, 18 November 2016 (UTC)

editHe's my papa, and I'm very proud to be his grand-daughter! I look up to him so much and I think he is the most wonderful man!
"One of the country's top ten governors of the 20th century"
editAccording to Martin Dyckman (in his book, "Reubin O'D. Askew and the Golden Age of Florida Politics") attributing this to Harvard and/or the JFK School of Government is incorrect. The source is a paper by George Weeks, who "conducted his study while he was a graduate student at Harvard University, which gave rise to a persistent misperception that the university itself had certified Askew's stature." I do not have a page reference, as I'm reading it on a Kindle, but it's in the 64% progress point.Frank Lynch (talk) 01:29, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
