Don't the Christopher Guest "mockumentaries" also make use of this technique? --Do Not Talk About Feitclub (contributions) 15:15, 26 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

How does Family Guy retroscript? Shit's animated.--68.56.17.70 (talk) 01:04, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

They have voice actors, although I doubt they retroscript to the same degree that Home Movies or Aqua Teen does, if at all. 172.190.38.125 (talk) 05:36, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I added a slew of references, all to the entries I made a while back. Was fun reading all those interviews. 01:26 September 23 2010 (soahc)

None of those sources even used the word. Leaving this reply just in case my edit summaries are overlooked. I’m not saying every source needs to use the exact words we use, but we haven’t even established it as a word with any meaning outside of the creators’ heads. —67.14.236.50 (talk) 05:00, 28 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

i believe people are confusing ad-libbed lines in a movie with retroscripting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.84.48.64 (talk) 01:31, 3 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

AFD nomination edit

I’ve left a request on WT:AFD with my rationale for nominating. In short, the only cited source that supports this term circles back to this article, and the sources I’ve found only use it in connection with a single cartoon. —67.14.236.50 (talk) 04:58, 9 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
