Small mistake ? edit
Isn't the residence time equal to the inverse of the frequency of exceedance for the closest value to the mean of the signal between ymin and ymax ? I mean, the article says that the <Tau> = N-1[min(ymin,ymax)] which meakes no sense since by definition, ymin < ymax. It think the author meant <Tau> = N-1[min(<y>-ymin,ymax-<y>)].
Am I wrong here ?
