Canonicity edit

I'm just curious... I'm sure, from what I've heard, that most of the scenes in the game can vary greatly in terms of execution (no pun intended). But is the general gist of the non-film portions of the game considered canon with the events of the movie (where possible)? Also, out of curiosity, is it possible to pretty much recreate the movie exactly how it appears to have happened?--MythicFox 14:41, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think re: your last question that's pretty much the point. Lots42 (talk) 21:00, 10 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Work Needed edit

This article needs work. Waaaaay too much extraneous info, too much fandom-type writing, very un-wiki. Lots42 (talk) 01:54, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Who wrote the article, the Volatile people? edit

"It remains faithful to the film", yeah, right, the film was all about car chases with crazy stunts and Eddie Bunker shooting SWAT guys in Bullet Time mode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.229.171.156 (talk) 22:51, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Still had the original plot sandwhiched in there. Just sayin' Lots42 (talk) 20:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Censored copies edit

I bought a copy of this game, new, in America, where the hostage abuse scenes were censored in that we don't actually see them. The camera pans away. I think this is noteable enough for the article. Lots42 (talk) 04:28, 11 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Weapons edit

Do we really need the weapons list? It seems awfully generic. If it was like Half-Life 2, which had the -unique- (at the time) gravity gun, sure, okay. But the weapons list is like any other modern day shooter. Lots42 (talk) 20:44, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yet Another Lots42 Comment edit

I think it should be stressed that the vast majority of opponents here are police officers. Many other shoot 'em up games, like Scarface: The World is Yours and GTA games, have the majority of opponents be other gangsters or other murderous folks. I think this is very noteable concerning the controvery surrounding this and similar games. Lots42 (talk) 21:02, 10 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
