Peer Review for Ling 102 edit

The lead gives a brief description of the language, it seems as though it is given neutrally. The lead does not reflect the most important information and it could use a bit more information. The sections are organized in a coherent way and the length of each reflects its importance. The article presents the facts well, and remains neutral. I would not be able to guess the perspective of the author by reading this article, however some phrases may not be necessary such as “hard to come by” in the Materials section. Most of the statements are connected to a reliable source, however they are not referenced properly in the article, to my understanding they references need to be inserted as citations. Overall, the article is well written, with a few grammatical errors. My main sugestions are that you : insert citations, review your writing, and make the sentences flow together a little better. Reading your article helped a lot in giving me ideas for my own article, which is severly lacking right now. I now have more topics to pursue in my research for my topic. The article overall is well done and well organized with the sections that you provided with many information in those sections. The only concern that I want to point out, is the in-text citations that are not presented within the article. The information given in the article are great because you talk about the history of the language, where it is spoken, and how the language is spoken. With the in-text citations, it will give the reader a better understanding of the information that you have given of where it comes from, which is a great deal of information. It will also clarify the information that you have given with reliable sources. I also have one suggestion that you could put it into your article which is more history of the people and population from the past. Talking about the past also will you more information that you could put into your article where you could also compare it with the present. This is just a suggestion, but overall the article is well done with a lot of information, just need to input the in-text citations. (Noahbrowne4 (talk) 02:19, 3 October 2018 (UTC))Reply
