Talk:Religious philosophy

Removed material (after having vainly edited it to fit in the page) edit

Philosophy of religion is a branch of philosophy that is concerned with the philosophical study of religion, that discipline has a long history, traditionally within the study of metaphysics. Philosophy of religion is the philosophical thinking about religion by various persons, whether they claim to be believers or not. Source : Evans, C. Stephen (1985). Expanding 'Impacts' section edit

I've been thinking about expanding each 'Impacts' subsection to include and encompass major religions and their philosophy (e.g. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism etc.) however am unsure if this is a sustainable formatting (is there a better way to format the section?). Please let me know if you have any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. NagaiEE (talk) 10:17, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

article needs to establish the existence of the field edit

None of the citations in the lead or the first two sections is about religious philosophy. If there is, in fact, such a field, it needs to be clearly differentiated from the philosophy of religion, theology, and the teachings of the religions themselves.

Best wishes to everyone with the improvements —
