Location of churches

Does anyone have the location for the area leased on behalf of the Christian churches? I'd love to see it from space via Google Maps. 155.213.224.59 (talk) 19:16, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

Disregard. I found it here: https://maps.google.com/maps?bav=on.2,or.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.85970519,d.eXY&biw=1551&bih=790&dpr=1&um=1&ie=UTF-8&fb=1&gl=us&q=anglican+church+doha+qatar&hq=anglican+church&hnear=0x3e45c534ffdce87f:0x44d9319f78cfd4b1,doha+qatar&sa=X&ei=9zbmVKfeNMOVNvvGgagD&ved=0CHAQtgM&output=classic&dg=brw Can someone smarter than me link this somehow? 155.213.224.59 (talk) 19:19, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

The Islam section

There is a section entitled Islam', which reads as follows:

Wahhabism is the state sponsored brand of Islam in Qatar. Most Qataris belong to the strict Wahhabi sect of Islam.[1][2][3] Qatar has a Ministry of Islamic Affairs.[4] Wahhabi/Salafi Islam is the state religion.[4] Islamic instruction is compulsory for Muslims in all state-sponsored schools.[4]

  2. ^ "Qatar's modern future rubs up against conservative traditions". Reuters. 27 September 2012.
  3. ^ "Rising power Qatar stirs unease among some Mideast neighbors". Reuters. 12 February 2013. Retrieved 13 June 2013.
  4. ^ a b c "Qatar". State. 2006-06-29. Retrieved 2012-09-04.

An editor (who sometimes edits as an IP) objects to the word "Wahhabi".

The sources are as follows:

  1. BBC, which says "Most of Qatar's citizens belong to the strict Wahhabi sect of Islam."
  2. Reuters, which says: "...most Qataris are very conservative. Most practice Wahhabism, the austere form of Islam also practiced in Saudi Arabia."
  3. also Reuters, which says: "Of the 1.9 million people who live there, only some 250,000 are ethnic Qataris, most of whom practice Wahhabism, the austere form of Islam also practiced in Saudi Arabia."
  4. US department of State, which says: "The state religion is Islam." "The state religion is Islam. While most Qataris are Sunni, Shi'a Muslims freely practice their faith. The nationality law does not impose any restrictions on religious identity." "The Ministry of Islamic Affairs controls the construction of mosques, clerical affairs, and Islamic education for adults and new converts." "Islamic instruction is compulsory for Muslims in state-sponsored schools."

The sources do not support the claim that the"Wahhabism is the state sponsored brand of Islam in Qatar" or that "Wahhabi/Salafi Islam is the state religion."

I propose the following text:

The state religion in Qatar is Islam.[1] Most Qataris belong to the strict Wahhabi sect of Islam.[2][3][4] Qatar has a Ministry of Islamic Affairs.[1] Islamic instruction is compulsory for Muslims in all state-sponsored schools.[1]
