What percentage are Sunni, etc?
The article on Morocco says that 67% of Muslims in Morocco are Sunni, with 3,000 to 8,000 Shia Muslims, which would be about 2.5%. But it also says that 'non-denominational Muslims (are) the second largest group of Muslims at 30%." I think this article needs to address this - it should probably have more information than the general article on Morocco, rather than less. 97.5% would be a vast majority, but 67% maybe not vast. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 19:52, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
Pie chart/graph
I dunno that any of these driveby IPs will read this, but I removed the chart of religions in Morocco from the article because, as you'll see from the article itself and the cites, the figures are simply not known with any great precision. One cannot assemble a chart without facts to put in it. Pinkbeast (talk) 13:03, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Why did you revert sourced changes?
@Hichemdu91: Arab brometer poll clearly is talking about about religiously and not irreligion while pew gives sources of Morocco being 99% muslim? According to Arab Barometer who conducted a survey with 2,400 Moroccans participating which stated that, 38% said they are religious, compared with 44% who said they are somewhat religious and 13 percent identifying as not religious.https://www.arabbarometer.org/wp-content/uploads/ABV_Morocco_Report_Public-Opinion_Arab-Barometer_2019.pdf while pew says 99% http://www.globalreligiousfutures.org/countries/morocco#/?affiliations_religion_id=0&affiliations_year=2010®ion_name=All%20Countries&restrictions_year=2016 Azeriking55 (talk) 23:20, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
@Azeriking55: I think you are confusing irreligion with atheism. You can be irreligious and still muslim. For example most Azeris (since I guess you're azeri judging by your username)are irreligious but still identify as muslims. I don't see why it shouldn't be precised in the irreligion part.
@Hichemdu91: Indifference or hostility to religion, or lack of religious belief. https://www.lexico.com/definition/irreligion No irreligion means you have no religion even the wiki artcile or irreligion states the same and and this is religion in morocco not islam in moroco the pie chart shows sectarian view of islam in moroccans conducted by pew.Azeriking55 (talk) 19:55, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
