Really? edit

This whole article could be replaced with the ancient commonplace that "people today don't respect God/the gods like they did back in the day." 208.68.128.53 (talk) 23:10, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

The "Getting Married" section has nothing to do with Getting Married edit

It should be removed or fixed. --74.133.208.47 (talk) 19:51, 27 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Massive article clean up edit

This article mostly consisted of material copy&pasted in 2009 without a license from Finland.fi. This has been now reverted, and the article needs attention regarding the history of religion in Finland. --hydrox (talk) 22:05, 17 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Pentecostal edit

I am of Polish and my English is poor. Why is there no information about the Pentecostal Church, which is the largest religious minority in Finland and has about 50 000 members and 100 000 affiliates? --Ocelotic (talk) 17:09, 21 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to add sources but always with a reliable source!. AlfaRocket (talk) 13:56, 14 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Import the table edit

We could import the table of official statistics (currently 2000 to 2017) and then generate % and a line chart as it has been done in "religion in Iceland".--Wddan (talk) 09:18, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

something with the data doesn't work out edit

it says that there are 0.3% muslims in Finland, while in "Islam in Finland" 2.6% is written. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.142.4.203 (talk) 06:30, 27 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Data and sources edit

I've checked some of the data and sources and revamped. Note I merged some items to produce the pie chart since the many very small groups were invisible in the pie chart. I also check the Zuckerman 2005 original and rephrased to more accurately report what was stated. --Erp (talk) 20:06, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Big Problems edit

In the intro, it says that the percentage of Muslims in Finland is 2.7. But in the main pie chart, it says that the percentage of other religions as a whole is 0.75. Which one is right, if either? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ShrekFinland (talkcontribs) 16:48, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Removing the Pew study edit

I've removed the Pew numbers from the lede. They are clearly incompatible with the StatsFi numbers, and a look into the methodology section of the actual Pew study reveals even the 2016 numbers are simply a projection from 2010 numbers (page 41 here): The 2016 estimates and 2050 projections in this report are based on projections from 2010 baseline data. If someone can find good numbers that include the asylym seekers, great. But keeping the Pew report numbers is just misleading. Ljleppan (talk) 14:30, 31 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
