Look at the Google Earth imagery, in particular the 1.5x1.5 km area SE of the river and NE of the lakeshore. In March 2015 you can see that this was densest part of the city, with probably well over 1,000 buildings. Now look at Feb 2019 (the first image after the siege) and 90% of the multicolored roofs are gone, replaced by grey and brown rubble. Fast forward to the most recent image, Oct 2022, and you can see it’s all mostly green vegetation. Finally, look at Street View. Unfortunately the only available Street View images are near the edge of the destroyed area, but even there, it’s 90% ruins. Mitchsteam (talk) 04:24, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
