It looks like the article Loot box has a very large section on regulations, with overlaps of the purpose of Regulations protecting consumers from microtransactions, so maybe some of the content from the regulations section in Loot box should be merged over into the Regulations protecting consumers from microtransactions main page article. - Oppose The regulations specific to loot boxes need to be covered on that page, even if some parts overlap here, as to keep the loot box page comprehensive. Masem (t) 04:04, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: I'm not saying that everything needs to move here, but a lot of the protection laws created are really about microtransactions and not just exclusively to loot boxes (though that has often times been the impetus for creating them).
- So I'm merely suggesting that those regulations that are about microtransactions be moved over here, which can also help lighten the scope of the Loot box article, which should really be about what a Loot box is, but right now it appears to have an outsizedly large amount on regulation (which could be its own article with a high level overview left behind at Loot box that talks about the fact that countries have started passing regulations to control them.
