Promotion of artificial intelligence edit

Re "The regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) is the development of public sector policies and laws for promoting and regulating artificial intelligence (AI) and is therefore a subset of the broader regulation of algorithms.": "Subset" seems problematic, since governments often promote artificial intelligence R&D, without necessarily promoting research into algorithms per se.
