The result of the move request was: speedy move (not the talk page) to revert bad move, & restore the deleted disambig page. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:32, 25 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Red admiralVanessa atalanta – The article page was moved over top of the disambiguation page Red admiral which pointed to 3 different possibilities. This move was implemented without discussion and apparently without noticing a disambiguation page existed here already. The move was also only partial as the talk page wasn't moved, and as you can see this talk page still refers to the original disambiguation page that was here. So only the main article needs moved back, and then this article page undeleted or recreated. Tony Wills (talk) 23:29, 23 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Question - what happened to the dab? In ictu oculi (talk) 02:00, 24 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
    • Deleted, mistakenly as a G6, to make way for the move [1] --Tony Wills (talk) 02:12, 24 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
        • Then Speedy revert and undelete, thanks for the answer. It wasn't even a good move, let alone by G6. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:13, 24 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Speedy revert and undelete as an unacceptable manner to move a page. This is why WP:RM exists, to move pages where another page exists at the location requested that is not a simple redirect (ie. a redirect with no significant edit history). Clearly a disambiguation page would be such a case. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 05:03, 24 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
