What is Thailand's Krong-hua-juk? edit

I'd added the name "Krong-hua-juk (กรงหัวจุก) in Thai" (which I get from Google Images, etc.) but reverted it. Despite Google's opinion, I'm starting to think the bird that locals are excited about here is actually Hoopoe (Upupa epops). Septimus.stevens (talk) 05:54, 9 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thumbnail edit

Re: this edit: The new thumbnail is certainly far superior as a picture, but I think that the lower-resolution picture that was previously used as the bird-identifying thumbnail is clearer in showing the bird as a small thumbnail. What do you all think? Should we revert the edit, even though the current picture is certainly a better picture? Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:07, 6 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I'm not sure, since the new thumbnail shows the tail. I'd like to see other opinions. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:09, 6 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
Support retaining the present image which shows the tail. Tail features in description and hence the image is more encyclopaedic. AshLin (talk) 11:22, 6 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

How am I supposed to ID subspecies edit

I read about the subspecies, but the info was not sufficient. Pls explain how to identify subspecies. Uploader1234567890 (talk) 16:05, 2 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

See WP:HOWTO; this isn't what Wikipedia is for. - UtherSRG (talk) 16:57, 2 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
