editThe Kalman filter is used extensively in economics also so this can hardly be classified exclusively as an electronics stub. Added that and will let someone more familiar with categorization decide. Doesnt seem to be a signal processing stub else that would likely be the best... Recursion
editIn a Kalman filter, the recursion alters the transfer function of the filter. In an Infinite impulse response filter, the recursion makes the output a function of prior outputs (and the input). Two different things. The article is confused. I've removed some links to this article where possible to avoid reader confusion while this is sorted out. ~KvnG 16:39, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
