Incorrect Definition edit
This is definately not the correct definition of tenesmus (or atleast it is an incomplete definition). Tenesmus is the feeling to pass faeces, even after emptying their bowels, or somthing to that effect. I have not edited it since I am only medical student - may be a qualified gastrointestinal physician or surgical house officer could give a more accurate definition? 14:47, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Incorrect etymology edit
