Talk:Reactions to the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests and massacre

pure synthesis edit

The existence of this page is absurd. No, no one thinks the Tiananmen crackdown was good, and only a few dictator types would oppose condemning it--but Vancouver is not a unity, and there is no such thing as Vancouver's reaction as such.

This fails on A7 since no significance can be applied to the collective reaction of the persons involved. Indeed, were this article allowed, it would be an absurd precedent, justifying such articles as the Prussian reaction to the Armenian genocide, and the Transnistrian reaction to the O. J. Simpson trial. μηδείς (talk) 04:32, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Suggestions on how to improve this article edit

This article was written to shed light and give a more in-depth look at international reaction to Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 specifically to the reaction of Vancouver's large Chinese population. It is historically significant and although may seem absurd as a independent wikipedia entry perhaps would be better fit when linked with Reactions to Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 of International reactions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Luckeetwenty1 (talkcontribs) 20:23, 21 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
