Re:born - Mistake

edit

There are some information mistakes around the article, or Re:born album.

CD 1, isn't the track listing, but under the full name " Original Drama CD ". Gackt call this album as "Perfect Story Book", and so, "Drama CD" is on the first place to listen, understand the story and meaning of the album, and then the "Music CD" sang from the point of Rei Hartmann (ZERO), MARIA KLOSE, RYUICHI ASAKURA or just from (ZERO) only.

This could make some confusion around the public, and first "CD" to be put in the music player-walkman be kinda wrong and reduce the sense of experience.

I suggest that in the text and section of CD's, to change the information section with the "CD 1 - CD 2" on the "Music CD - Original Drama CD", it is much more accurately and better support for the article.--GreyWolfy (talk) 15:32, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I guess you're right. I only titled them as CD1 and CD2 to show which one came first. One question though, what does public confusion have to do with listening to this CD on a walkman? Eugeniu B +1 18:30, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I thought, misinformation (although it is written on the CD it contains, but quite small letters), inserting the first CD -wrong one- it could slightly lower atmosphere. Just pure consideration of which what would be -if-. Nothing more.--GreyWolfy (talk) 19:46, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I didn't realize I had the CD labels mismatched, haha. Eugeniu B +1 20:16, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re:born - Genre

edit

Of what Music genre album is?

On Japanese wikipedia is only rock, Pop/rock is music of like Michael Jackson, Avril Lavigne, ( while Gackt music style is different from their music genre, and so this is good question about the genre to add at his article).

Ghost has some Techno/Electro in it, Koakuma Heaven with Faraway (Hoshi ni Negai o) synthesized sound, Jesus with No Reason are harder sound (Hard Rock) and Lost Angels even, Flower and My Father's Day fast beat light rock songs, while Sayonara Piano ballad, while Oblivious pop/rock ( not exact genre ) ballad etc.--GreyWolfy (talk) 16:53, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Both the pop and rock genres can mean very varied musical sounds. Although they're listed as genres of MJ and AL on their articles, The Beatles also has those two genres. But for the purpose of being specific, I think we should list the genres of this album as "Alternative rock, Pop rock, and Techno" or something similar to that. Rock in Japan (even is considered different thing) is under Pop because of it's popularity (or something unknown), GACKT is considered as J-POP artist, POP/Rock artist, Rock artist, Visual Rock artist or just how the style he has that year, is all basically correct. Must be taken that it is not totally defined for him. This album could be considered as his effort to end 10 years with all his genres went before, and some new, while in 2009 go with "Japanese Zipangu Rock" (Made in Japan) style, something what listener will know as music from both Japan and GACKT ( started with Setsugekka (The End of Silence)/Zan, but influence and idea from ( Returner ~Yami no Shūen~ ).
There are some time to the the end of 2010, until that I hope we will find the solution. Anyone who can help is desirable.

Alright, but until then, should we keep the genres they way they are or change them? Eugeniu B +1 20:16, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Is better to change them, do how you think--GreyWolfy (talk) 20:53, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Alright then. By they way, when it says "Gackt as Rei Hartmann (ZERO)/PROTO" under the cast list, does that mean Gackt plays Rei who is also known as ZERO, and then another character known as PROTO? Eugeniu B +1 22:56, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
1) Requiem et Reminiscence ( every studio album is concept ) began in 2001, Story around 1939-1945 in Germany (Nazi) cite:...-As the prototype, the first experimental subject that was successfully turned into a cyborg was called "PROTO"... -The name of the team leader was changed from PROTO to ZERO. PROTO and ZERO. The coincidence that set off this tragedy was like the cruel trick..-
2) It is written "Rei Hartmann (ZERO)/PROTO" in the album.--GreyWolfy (talk) 20:10, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
