It strikes me that taxa higher than Class or Phylum, when talking about lower taxa such a families or subfamilies is superfluous. Anyone not knowing a cephalopod is a mollusc or animal ,Mollusca, Animalia, can easily find that out by going to that page. Meanwhile, why the clutter.
