Why no "Battle of Ravenswood" page?

We know a good bit about the battle of Ravenswood: who was involved, who won, when it happened, and the probable location. Hæðcyn, king of the Geats (Götar), attacked the Swedish(Svear) force, routing them to their fortress, and even capturing Ongenþēow’s queen (name unknown). Around dusk Ongenþēow and his best warriors fell on the Geats, driving them into the forest, killing Hæðcyn, then taunting the warriors all night with threats of hangings. In the morning Hygelāc surprised the Swedish force routing them once more. Ongenþēow was killed by a pair of Hygelāc's men, the brothers Eofor and Wulf. Hygelāc, now king, rewarded them richly, even marrying Eofor to his only daughter (name unknown). ARandomIP--editing as:38.97.15.104 (talk) 16:33, 14 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

The Battle of Ravenswood is not a real historical event. It is a fictional battle that was created for a role-playing game called Ravenswood. The Svear and the Götar were not two rival tribes of ancient Sweden. They were two confederations of tribes that inhabited different regions of Sweden in the early Middle Ages. The Svear lived in the area around Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea, while the Götar lived in the area around Lake Vänern and the Kattegat. Terrickisaiah555 [T]/[C]   02:03, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
