What is the native range of this plant? edit

Can someone show where this plant normally grow? I'm interested in the history, and I have indication that this plant was also grown in the middle east, possibly in Asia Minor as well. 98.247.77.63 (talk) 02:19, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

They grow in moist forests and shady places near rain-forests in Indian subcontinent and in China. Difficult to cultivate; but possible. Jee 13:07, 7 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

This anti hypertensive herbal medicine is being vandalized, slandered, and misrepresented. edit

The best example of bioprospecting today...using traditional knowledge is reserpine, the anti-hypertensive alkaloid from Rauwolfia serpentina." I just took out the garbage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.180.52.118 (talk) 04:00, 20 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
