Unsuitable across mountains edit

The cognates in the Indo-European suggests a common origin at least. If it is impractical to expect the chariot to cross into the Indus valley, it is impractical to expect it to cross out of the Indus valley too.

nobody suggests people crossed the Hindukush in chariots, where did you get such an idea? As with any technology transfer, it is sufficient to assume people familiar with their construction crossed the Hindukush, on foot. dab () 11:27, 9 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

scope edit

instead of merging, I made this into a sub article of Chariot#Indo-Iranians, with the scope of discussing chariots in Indo-Iranian texts and associated archaeology. Maybe move to Indo-Iranian chariot? dab () 11:34, 9 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
