Originality/style of the act?
editWhile in Finland Raptori is considered very original in style (In 20 years of music listening haven't found anything similar, until now) and everyone in certain age group knows their songs, I just found out by accident that the style of the U.S. act Slick Rick has so much in common with Raptori that it cannot be accidental and I believe Raptori have been greatly influenced by that act. Raptori just took a good concept and developed it to the next level. The unsigned edit was executed by 88.112.186.6 (talk) 13:14, 24 September 2007 (UTC).
- That is a possibility, but to my understanding it is unverified, and a documented differential analysis is needed prior to any inclusion of refs to Slick Rick this Article. B. C. Schmerker (talk) 06:41, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Musician article needs attention
editThis article is desperately short of information necessary for a Wikipedia article, especially in the context of WikiProject Musicians. No Infobox musical artist, no detailed general info on bandmembers, and precious little in the way of sources. This article WILL need sections on group history and some accompanying articles for the discography. - B.C.Schmerker 05:17, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- Update: I found partial information necessary for the Infobox musical artist on fi.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Raptori:
- Years active: 1989-1992, 1999-2001.
- Origin: Hyvinkää, Finland.
- Members: Juho "JuFo III" Peltomaa; Ismo Tapio "Izmo" Heikkilä; Tero Tapio "Kaivo" Kaikkonen.
- Other information still has to be translated from the original Suomi (extracts from fi.Wikipedia.org) to complete critical information for this article. - B.C.Schmerker 06:46, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- Infobox done 06:25, 8 June 2007 (UTC). - BCS
Update: The Infobox musical artist also needs an appropriate image of the group. - B.C.Schmerker 16:30, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Update 2: fi.Wikipedia.org has most supporting Articles available for fi:Raptori, excepting fi:Debi Gibson (erroneously redirected to translation to Suomi of en:Debbie Gibson and therefore in need of un-redirect and proper writeup). I have a stub writeup of "Debi Gibson" in the works, but need corroborating data from WPMusicians and WPFinland. - B. C. Schmerker (talk) 09:15, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Re: Original Article
editWhile investigating for a possible usable Image on fi:Raptori, I found that the same currently has no corresponding talk page fi:Keskustelu:Raptori as of 17:15, 7 March 2008 (UTC). Under current English Wikipedia rules, this group falls under the scopes of WikiProject Biography and its sub-Project the Musicians Workgroup, in addition to WikiProject Finland. Could a current Finnish Wikipedia User in any of the above listed WikiProjects look into creating the aforementioned Talk Page fi:Keskustelu:Raptori pre-Templated for the corresponding WikiProjects on the Finnish Wikipedia? - B.
