Reclusive edit

173.68.209.27 added the sentence, "Smith is said to [sic] quite reclusive and avoids the public eye." It was added to a paragraph that has to do with how many residences Smith owns which is not where I would have put that sentence, but that's a question for another day. This is how it showed up:

"Through limited liability companies, Smith and his wife, Barbara, own seven residences in the Palm Beach, Florida, area which they use as investments and rental properties.[8]. Smith is said to quite reclusive and avoids the public eye."

I reverted/removed the sentence "Smith is said to [sic] quite reclusive and avoids the public eye." My edit summary said, "RV in the absence of sourcing or any citation."

Gamaliel then reverted me, and in the edit summary said, "I see a number of citations".

I don't see any citations for that claim but perhaps I am looking in the wrong place. I would expect to see a ref immediately at the end of a sentence making a claim like that. Novellasyes (talk) 01:15, 26 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm fine with removing that specific sentence, but you also removed an entire cited paragraph later in the article with that edit. Gamaliel (talk) 13:23, 26 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for pointing that out. I missed that, and thought that the edit I was reverting was just that one sentence. I was careless. Novellasyes (talk) 15:44, 26 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
