As with Andy Miah, this individual is notable simply because he has written a significant book - in this case, More than Human. What the article needs is some sources showing that the book has received independent discussion in reviews, etc., but I don't imagine that would be very difficult to do. The article probably needs to be rewritten with a quite different emphasis, i.e. on what is notable about him - that he is the author of a non-trivial book. That might justify an article on the book, if it is really well reviewed and discussed. if its the only thing he did, then I dont see why the article should be on him, and I dont think 2 articles would be justified. .DGG 05:52, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Subtitles of novels? edit

The bibliography section give subtitles for the novels:

  • Nexus: Mankind gets an upgrade
  • Crux: Upgrade in progress

In my copy of Nexus, the "Mankind gets an upgrade" appears only on the cover, not on the title page. I think it's just a cover blurb, not an actual subtitle. But someone with a paper copy (mine is an ebook) should double-check, and someone with a copy of Crux should check whether "Upgrade in progress" is a blurb or a true subtitle. --Jim Henry (talk) 04:37, 21 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

The alleged subtitles are nowhere mentioned on his webpage. I'm removing them. Choor monster (talk) 11:43, 5 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Individual notability edit

The books get a bit of attention, but this is still a WP:BLP with zero WP:RSes at all, let alone ones actually about the subject.

Is there any reason not to redirect this to The Nexus Trilogy? A reason would be, for example, good coverage that meets WP:RS of the details of his biography, for example (rather than e.g. cites to two identical copies of his publisher bio).

At present this is a hazardous unsourced BLP, and a redirect to the books would be safer - David Gerard (talk) 08:31, 14 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I agree. At the moment this article reads like an author marketing bio. Ashmoo (talk) 08:52, 18 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
