Where is all the bibliographic evidence to back up all the claims made?

This article is unreferenced and short on solid biographical information; it could use improvement by an expert in the field. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tom Radulovich (talkcontribs) 06:57, 4 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

Regarding the Cleanup

edit

Guys this article has some fundamental flaws.

  • Firstly this article does not throw light upon the pre-Panipat days of his career. Those were the most important days wherein he led the Bhuyari into Punjab and Afghanistan.
  • It contains no information about the First Anglo-Maratha War. He brought it all about.
  • Thirdly it seems a little biased.

I have taken it upon me to render it some much needed facelifts. Any help would me highly appreciated. Holy Warrior Tej 16:26, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. It has been widely accepted that raghobharari was a distinguished swordsman and able warrior. He has opportunity to capture throne thrice in his lifetime however he never claimed it. There is a great debate on whether He was made villains to burry sins of other people (read Nana phadanvis) who succeeded in capturing innocent princes. Birth date?

edit

In the lede and the infobox, the birth date is 18 August 1734 but in the "Early life" paragraph the date is noted as 8 August 1734. Neither date is sourced though I did find this online blog (9th entry on the page) that supports the 8 August date. I've looked at several books where he is mentioned but none give his birth date. Who can find a definitive birth date that is well sourced? ww2censor (talk) 12:14, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
